Brief Introduction

The data in this chapter mainly cover public health, sports, civil affairs, labor & social securities, public security, procuratorial, legal & judicial affairs, work safety, and fires & highway traffic accidents. The data are sorted and compiled by Division of Social and Technology Statistics, Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Statistics on the basis of the data provided by other related departments.

The data on public health are provided by Chongqing Municipal Health Bureau; the data on sports are provided by Chongqing Administration of Sports; the data on civil affairs and labor & social securities are provided by Chongqing Civil Affairs Bureau and Chongqing Administration of Labor and Social Security; the data on public security, procuratorial and legal affairs are provided by Chongqing Public Security Bureau, Chongqing People’s Procuratorate, Higher People’s Court and Chongqing Justice Bureau; the data on work safety are provided by Chongqing Administration of Work Safety; and the data on fires & highway traffic accidents are provided by Chongqing Fire Brigade and Chongqing Bureau of Traffic Administration.
