Brief Introduction
The data in this chapter include the basic
statistics on the registered population, resident population and the main
indicators in 5 population censuses，as well as
the statistics on family planning, employment and wages. All the data are
prepared and compiled by Division of Population and Employment Statistics,
Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Statistics.
The data on registered population are
provided by Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau; the data on family
planning are provided by Chongqing Population and Family Planning Commission;
the data on unemployment are provided by Chongqing Municipal Human Resources
and Social Security Bureau and the main indicators of resident population,
population censuses, employment and wages are provided by Division of
Population and Employment Statistics, Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Statistics.
