简要说明 Brief Introduction

本章资料主要包括全市教育事业、科学技术活动和文化事业的基本情况，由市统计局社会科技统计处根据调查资料和有关部门资料整理编辑。

教育部分包括各类教育的学校、教师和学生情况，由市教育委员会提供；专利资料由市知识产权局提供；商标申请注册来源于市工商行政管理局；产品质量监督抽查由市质量技术监督局提供；文化部分主要包括图书馆、文物、群众艺术文化、广播电视、新闻出版等情况，资料主要来自市文化广播电视局、市新闻出版局。

由于国家开展全国第二次R&D资源清查工作，为确保清查数据的准确性和权威性，在国家清查数据审核工作全部完成前，各地区不得对外发布或提供本地区有关清查数据。根据国家要求2009年科学技术部分包括的科技机构、大中型工业企业和高等学校科技活动情况的数据未能编撰入2010年年鉴，2009年科学技术部分资料将补充编辑入2011年年鉴。

The data in this chapter include the basic statistics on education, scientific & technological activities and culture undertakings. All the data are compiled by Division of Social and Technology Statistics, Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Statistics on the basis of the data from survey and related departments.

The statistics of education cover the data of schools, teachers and students of various kinds, which were provided by Chongqing Education Commission. The data of patent are provided by Chongqing Intellectual Property Office. The data of trademark application and registration are provided by Chongqing Administration for Industry and Commerce. The data of sampling supervision & check on quality of products are provided by Chongqing Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision. The data of culture mainly include public libraries, cultural relics, mass arts & culture, radio and television, and press and publication, which are provided by Chongqing Administration of Culture, Radio and Television and Chongqing Press and Publication Bureau.

Due to the 2nd National Investigation of R&D Resources, to ensure the accuracy and authority of the data of investigation, any region is not allowed to release or provide the related data to the public before the investigation data review work is completed. In accordance with the requirement of the state, the data like number of science and technology institutions and the scientific and technological activities of the medium-large industrial enterprises and universities included in the chapter of science and technology in 2009 were not included in the yearbook of 2010. The related data of 2009 will be covered in the yearbook of 2011.
